Empty Storefronts: Downtown Auburn
Barrow County has plenty of empty storefronts for sale and rent, thanks to current economic conditions. Patch wants to know what you would like to see move in to these vacant properties.
What do you think Barrow County can do to promote its empty storefronts? What types of businesses would you like to see move in to these vacant properties? Tell us in comments.

Here's what I want in Auburn ...
restaurants: Five Guys, Dunkin Donuts, My Friends Place, Brusters
grocery: Trader Joes or Fresh Market
shopping: a book store (even a used book store), a ReStore, a Dollar Tree, maybe a Christmas Shop

If you have all that you might as well move back to Gwinnett County.

I agree! Wish they would convert the old Ingles in Auburn to a teenage place (skating rink, dance club) so we wouldnt have to worry about the kids having to drive along 316 to Gwinnett or Athens to do something fun.
