Assistant for med/surg unit with Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville — Provides clerical support by maintaining patient records, unit supplies, equipment and serving as a facilitator for communications for the assigned area. Performs patient care within the scope of defined practice and interacts with patients, public and employees throughout the institution. Functions under the direction of a registered professional nurse. This is a combination of a nursing assistant and a unit secretary job. Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED, and previous experience as a nursing assistant or unit aide is desired.
Part-time medical assistant at Walgreens Take Care Clinic at 4398 Atlanta Highway in Loganville — Responsible for creating a positive patient experience through patient acknowledgement and assistance. The medical assistant is visible at the front desk 85 percent of the time and is responsible for the overall patient flow through the clinic and marketing activities. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. College degree with emphasis in marketing, service/hospitality, as well as one year of customer service experience preferred.
Certified nursing assistant (CNA) with Life Care Centers of America's Lawrenceville location — Responsible for providing direct routine daily nursing care to assigned residents. Qualifications: Must be a graduate of a state-approved CNA program. Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtain it during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment. One year geriatric care experience in a long-term care facility is preferred.
Occupational therapy assistant with Genesis Rehablitation in Monroe — Implements occupational therapy programs and provides occupational therapy treatments to patients to facilitate increased independence and functioning. Qualifications: Applicants must be graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program, according to AOTA & ACOTE standards, with initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
