In anticipation of an inaugural Halloween event, the Winder Downtown Development Authority is asking Barrow County residents to submit stories of paranormal activity and unexplained occurrences. 

The DDA is compiling stories for a planned ghost tour that will be part of "Fright Night" activities in downtown Winder. 

Anyone who has heard of, seen or read about any ghosts in the Winder area is asked to submit the story via e-mail to meredith.cameron@cityofwinder.com or by mail to P.O. Box 1867, Winder, GA 30680. The deadline to share a story is Sept. 15. For more information, call 770-867-8808.
