Carmike Cinemas in Bethlehem is expected to open in the next couple months.  

Work continues on the theater facility located off Ga. Highway 316 near its intersection with Ga. Highway 81.

“It has a lot of interior work left to be done,” said Terrell Mayton, director of marketing for Carmike. “It moves very quickly.”

The theater will be outfitted with Carmike’s BigD Experience — a special screen will give viewers a brighter 3D experience as they enjoy supple leather seats and additional upgrades in sound and overall visual experience.

“It’s one of the finest theater facilities in the country that you’re gong to have right there at Winder,” Mayton said. “I think you’re going to be really excited once it opens up.”
