What's the coolest, kid-friendly salon in Barrow County?
Barrow Patch is looking for stand-outs in local businesses in a new "Readers' Choice" series, and your poll votes, comments and business reviews will help us choose the best from the rest.
The winner will be determined by averaging the rankings in each of the three categories — poll votes, number of comments and number of business reviews. For example, if a business finishes first (1) with the most poll votes, has the fourth (4) highest number of comments on the article and the seventh highest number of reviews (7) on their directory page, the average ranking of that business would be a "4." In the event of a tie, the business with the most directory reviews will be the winner.
Polls close at 9 a.m. Friday, March 9, and the winner will be announced at noon.
To post a review of one of the businesses, click on the links below. You may also help your favorite salon win by voting in the poll or leaving a comment telling us why you think a particular business is the best place in Barrow.

head games salon is a family oriented place I love it..they do a great job with my son who is 1 and scared of a haircut so they go at his pace..and did I mention the great hair stylest that does my hair I love me some head game salon :) if u havent been u need to...awesome salon !!

Go see Cathy at Razors Edge!! This place is so laid back!! Razors Edge also give free haircuts to kids who can't afford them!! This place is #1 in my eyes!! Go see her and tell her "poodie" sent you!!

This place is wonderful!!!! The owner Cathy is very professional and really shows in her work,this is by far the best salon i have ever been to.If you want a friendly stylist great service and a afforable haircut please stop in at the Razors edge!!!!

Everyone should go see Katie or Bobby at Head Games Salon their work is fabulous and they really listen to what you want! This salon is in my mind truly the coolest kid friendly salon!! I have personally seen their interaction with children...AMAZING!!!They give back to the community... they give FREE cuts to foster children!

Hi, My name is Cathy Peters Owner of Razors Edge Hair Shop. Thank all of you that have voted for my shop.But there is something that is so very much more imporant. There is going to be a fund raising event for Children with Cancer. " Head Shaving event" All donations will go to St. Baldricks foundation. The event will take place at Dokotas in Auburn Ga. March 17th. Please come out and make donations to children with cancer and to help research to find a cure.. I ask that all Hair Salons in Barrow please take part in this event. Razors Edge has raised $100.00 so far, our goal is $500.00. Just think if all of the Hair Salons in barrow co. could raise at least $100.00 how much that could help children with cancer.
