Local Barrow County Sports to be Broadcast This Fall Season
Local broadcasters to cover three Barrow County schools' football games this fall with basketball and baseball coverage to follow.
HEARtheGAME.com is coming to Barrow County this fall thanks to local entrepreneur and company president Jon Graham. The objective of the company is to eventually broadcast every game for every school to every fan, everywhere!
According to a press release from Graham Creative, six broadcasters with over 50 years combined experience have been acquired to cover Barrow County Schools' football games this fall. Coverage of basketball and baseball is scheduled to follow.
"We're taking local play-by-play coverage of high school sports to another level," said Graham about the service. Graham added, "Our audio player features a chat room where fans can ask questions of the broadcasters or communicate fan-to-fan. Text message subscribers will receive game updates. Through our APP, which is currently available for Android but iPhone is on the way, fans can send birthday or other announcements directly to the broadcasters. Additionally, fans can snap photos of the game through the APP and send them to the website where the photos are published to a picture gallery portion of the APP. Even without the APP, photos can be emailed to photos@hearthegame.com with the same result."
Helping Graham field test the service was David Willard who stated in a press release, "We had to start at home and perfect our system. We were blown away at the response. Grandparents from Florida to Pennsylvania have enjoyed being able to hear their grand-kids play ball. We even had coaches from opposing teams ask us to carry their games too. It's really gratifying. We're bringing Barrow County something they've never had before, and that's exciting for us, for fans and for our sponsors!"
User feedback will be used by the broadcasting team to make sure the service maintains its fan-focused design and Graham hopes to expand the service throughout North Georgia in the future.
