Brooks House and his parents, Michael and Dana House of Winder, will share their personal story during the upcoming live broadcast to raise money to support the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Brooks was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma in June 2011. He has since had a tumor on his jaw removed and completed chemotherapy March 22.
This year's Barrow County St. Baldrick's Day event in March was dedicated to Brooks.
The Care-a-Thon will air continuously from 5 a.m. Thursday, July 26, to 6 p.m. Friday, July 27. Barrow County residents can also listen to the broadcast online using WSB's streaming radio.
