Piedmont College Announces July Graduates
At its recent July commencement ceremony, Piedmont College in Demorest awarded degrees to 349 students. Among the graduates were the following area residents:
- Lemuel Jason Appling of Winder, earned a Master of Arts degree in Secondary English Education
- Susan Lynne Hamilton of Winder, earned an Education Specialist degree
- Lisa Marie Hockaday of Statham, earned an Education Specialist degree
- Monica Lopez Jarrard of Winder, earned an Education Specialist degree
- Alison Kaye Meyran of Winder, earned an Education Specialist degree
- Lacey Ray of Bethlehem, earned a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in Special Education
- Tina Marie Waldrop of Statham, earned an Education Specialist degree
- Anastacia Swanson Wintemute of Bethlehem, earned a Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education
- Janet Ybarra of Winder, earned a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in Early Childhood Education
Piedmont College is an independent liberal arts college of about 2,800 students with campuses located in Demorest and Athens, Ga. Founded in 1897, the college offers undergraduate degrees in 32 major areas and graduate degrees in education and business, including doctoral degrees in education.
