About the instructor:
Anna has taught piano for 8 years in many different settings. She has a Bachelors degree in Piano Performance from MSSU and a Masters in Piano Pedagogy from UGA.
At UGA, she had a full assistantship teaching undergraduate piano classes. She created a curriculum for, and taught the UGA CMS-Adult beginning piano classes and was an instructor for 'Keyboard Kids' (a group piano class for young children). Since starting her studio in 2005, she has taught private piano lessons to students of all ages.
Currently Anna is teaching at a church studio located on the eastside of Athens. She is the founder and director of 'Intermezzo Piano Academy' which is an interactive summer camp for young pianists. She performs both locally and nationally with the Humoresque piano ensemble.
Professional affiliations include the Music Teachers National Association and Georgia Music Teachers Association.
