Community Connection of NEGA operates the 2-1-1 Information and Referral Helpline for the Northeast Georgia region. By dialing 211, callers are connected to an information specialist and can share any need for assistance they are currently experiencing, whether it be a need for shelter, food, financial assistance, information about reduced-cost medical options, or any other number of social service needs. The call specialist then offers referrals to the agencies and programs that provide the needed service.
