The fall semester is under way at the Georgia Institute of Technology with the following students representing part of the largest, best-qualified and most diverse freshman class in the Institute's history, according to Georgia Tech President G.P. "Bud" Peterson.

• Jessie Walls, chemical and biomolecular engineer major, from Auburn
