A tan, female dog wandered into the Stepan Company plant on Bankhead Highway on Thursday, July 5, 2012. 

"We believe that she belongs to someone. She isleash trained, house broken, and very friendly," Amy Coleman, an agricultural formulations chemist, wrote to Barrow Patch. "I had her in my office allday and she would scratch at the door whenever she needed to go out."

When no one in the surrounding neighborhoods recognized the dog, she was surrendered to Barrow County Animal Control. Coleman has asked for help in finding the dog's owner. 

"She is really sweet and I know she belongs to someone," Coleman said.
