Are you caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias? Join Athens Community Council on Aging (ACCA) at Winder Adult Day Health at 63 Lee Street for the next caregiver luncheon.

The support group meets every fourth Friday of the month for lunch and networking and the next meeting will be on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 12:00 p.m.  This month, staff from Homestead Hospice will speak to our group regarding hospice as it relates to Alzheimer’s disease and the grieving process during end of life caregiving. Please bring any questions, concerns, or issues you are having at home and we can discuss possible solutions and strategies.

This program provides an opportunity for individuals caring for someone with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementias to fellowship with other caregivers, participate in educational programs, have questions answered about your loved one’s care, and gain knowledge from health care professionals.
